I am very excited to announce that the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) is an event collaborator at this year’s CIPD Festival of Work, and I am also one of the speakers.
I am taking part in a fireside chat – alongside Steph Edusei, Chief Exec at Oswald’s Hospice and Jenny Roper, Editor of work Magazine at Wonderly. We are looking at how organisations can keep employees engaged, while balancing increasingly tight budgets.
Our session will dive into:
The impact of rising costs, including National Insurance and minimum wage changes, on engagement strategies
Whether cutting perks and benefits is a sustainable solution - or a morale risk
Practical, cost-effective ways to keep your workforce motivated during financial pressures
I will focus on what changes and pressures are being put into effect that will impact employee earnings such as national insurance and minimum wage increases. I’ll also be discussing the human element of benefits offerings with Steph, getting her practical insights from working in a hospice.
I’ll discuss with my panellists the impact these changes are having across the board to organisations, and I’ll be asking: what does good look like in terms of employee engagement?
With employee expectations evolving and budgets under pressure, this discussion is a must-attend for leaders looking to balance care with cost. Explore the full line-up and join us: festivalofwork.com/line-up
