Stephanie Barrell is Global Head of HR Operations at OpenBet, where she leads the people, infrastructure supporting a 1,000+ strong global workforce across EMEA, APAC, and the US. 

With 13 years of experience working within high-growth technology businesses at critical inflection points, including post-investment scale-up, acquisition integration and divestiture, Stephanie specialises in bringing disconnected systems, fragmented processes and inconsistent data into harmonisation. She builds the coherent operational foundations that enable organisations to scale without breaking, with deep expertise across HRIS transformation, global process design, data governance and the practical application of automation and AI in HR. 

Her focus is on how AI and automation can reshape employee and manager experiences, free HR teams for higher-value work, and future-proof the people function at pace.

Her philosophy is simple: build infrastructure that scales with the organisation, not against it.
