Sofia Lim-Oliver is a global leadership and talent leader, currently overseeing Leadership Strategy & Development at HiBob. She has supported fast-scaling technology companies through growth, transformation and the constant tension between moving fast and building well, and brings a truly global perspective, having lived and worked in London, San Francisco, and Singapore.

Her work sits at the intersection of business strategy and human capability. She leads across leadership strategy, leadership development, talent design, succession, performance, culture and coaching - building practical, integrated leadership and talent ecosystems that help companies scale without losing their edge or their humanity. Sofia is guided by two convictions: Leadership and talent strategies must be designed for the world we’re in now - more agile, more human, more adaptive. And they must start with real business needs - the connection between business reality and people strategy is where meaningful impact happens.

On the topic of AI and future-proofing skills, she brings a grounded tech-industry perspective and coaching lens - having helped shape HiBob’s AI transformation journey. She sees AI not simply as a technology shift, but as a capability and culture transformation, where leadership, skills and mindset matter as much as the tools themselves. Her focus goes beyond short-term productivity gains to strengthening long-term capability, judgement and resilience.

Outside of work, Sofia loves breathwork - a practice that helps her stay grounded amid the pace of a career in tech and family life. She also spends plenty of time embracing muddy puddles with her four-year-old son while trying not to think about the laundry implications.
