Dr Robin Cordell

President, Faculty of Occupational Medicine

Robin Cordell is a consultant occupational physician and co-founder of Cordell Health Ltd, a company registered as a social enterprise providing occupational health services to a wide range of organisations in the public, private and charitable sectors. Robin is a past President of the Society of Occupational Medicine (2015/16) and was a director of the Council for Work and Health from 2016 to 2025. He led the 2023 review of the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) standards. In September 2024, Robin was elected President of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) for a three-year term. He is Chair of Trustees and leads FOM engagement in initiatives aimed at improving health at work nationally, and in advancing professional education and standards in occupational health. Robin is also Chair of the College of Work and Health, launched as a sister charity to the FOM in March 2026. In all his work, Robin is engaged in promoting workplace health, advising on preventing ill health related to work, and on supporting those with health conditions and disabilities to be sustained in good work.
