Rob Oxley

Rob is People Director – Culture, Inclusion & Talent Development of John Sisk & Son – a family owned international building contractor with over 2,500 employees across UK, Ireland and wider Europe. Rob has been at Sisk for over 13 years and has worked across the various disciplines within the HR function including EDIB, Talent Development, Business Partnering and Reward.  He is currently part of the company’s Senior Leader Forum which is leading change across the organisation.  Rob played a key role in the creation of Sisk’s Early Careers programmes; Sisk currently have over 200 employees in their Early Careers cohorts across the group. He also developed Elevate, Sisk’s bespoke three-tiered management and leadership development programme.  Rob led the accreditation process with Investors in People over the past 13 years on the journey from Bronze to Platinum. In 2022 he co-developed the company’s People & Culture strategy, leading its successful implementation over the past 4 years.

Prior to his time at Sisk, Rob worked at Majestic Wine both on the shopfloor, managing a number of retail outlets and then progressing into the HR function. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is currently studying for a MSc in Executive Coaching at Ashridge Business College (HULT). Rob completed the CIPD’s Aspiring HRD Programme in 2025 and is currently acting as a mentor on the CIPD’s Future People Leaders’ Programme.
