Michelle Clark

The Executive Director for People, Culture and Transformation at The Children’s Society (TCS) Michelle has been working in the charity sector for six years moving from the Rail Industry at the start of 2020.  Transitioning to a new sector during the pandemic reinforced to Michelle the importance of a human centred approach through her People Experience Framework. Michelle leads the people, digital, data and technology agenda’s, creating the right conditions for all people to thrive.  This means valuing individual experience, celebrating difference, and finding the ways to ensure that everyone feels included. Achieving the HR Most Influential list for the last four years and reaching the shortlist for British Diversity Awards in 2024 has given Michelle a sense of pride and recognition of her approach. Michelle is also part of the board at Sussex County FA as a Non-Exec Director, as well as a Trustee for the Charities HR Network.   Michelle is committed in changing traditional practice and demonstrating that when you do, positive change happens and both individuals and organisations can thrive
