Head of OD, Wellbeing and Inclusion, The Rotherham Foundation Hosptial
Hashim is an accomplished Diversity and Inclusion Advocate, senior Organisational Development (OD) practitioner, and staff wellbeing lead. He currently serves as Head of OD, Wellbeing, and Inclusion at The Rotherham Foundation Hospital Trust. With extensive experience in OD and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) across Local Authorities and Higher Education, Hashim has consistently championed staff networks, mentoring programmes, and social mobility initiatives.
A proud advocate for the CIPD, Hashim achieved his Level 7 Advanced Diploma via the apprenticeship route, becoming the first in his family to pursue postgraduate studies. His father was an apprentice electrician and later a market trader while his mother was a primary school support worker before retiring with ill health.
Hashim's commitment to equality stems from his lived experience of witnessing how diversity fosters creativity and innovation in the workplace, enabling organisations to address tomorrow's challenges more effectively. He is keen to demonstrate the value and importance of the work of the CIPD Trust by individual actions that organisations can take to open the doors for others underrepresented in the sector.
