CHAIR: Derek Tong

Derek Tong is a content manager at the CIPD whose key focus is on developing and overseeing strategic, cross-team publishing programmes. This includes devising and delivering online content hubs, benchmarking reports and an award-winning podcast. Prior to working with the CIPD, Derek was Head of Journals at Bloomberg BNA, leading a team responsible for a range of professional legal and tax journals as well as an international, daily news service. Before entering the world of content publishing more than 20 years ago, Derek practised as a solicitor specialising in personal injury litigation.
