Stacey Dooley MBE

Television Presenter, Journalist, and Media Personality

Stacey Dooley has become one of Britain's most popular factual presenters. Her first break into the area was the BBC3 series Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts which saw her live and work alongside the people in the Indian fashion industry making clothes for the UK High Street. Since then she has fronted Stacey Dooley Investigates, which has seen Stacey look at a variety of topics from sex trafficking and underage sex slavery in Cambodia and the dark side of tourism in Thailand and Kenya, to rave reviews.

Her series Coming Here Soon explored the lives of young people affected by the global financial crisis in Greece, Ireland and Japan. Whilst in the USA Stacey created two series of Stacey Dooley in the USA with episodes including Girls Behind Bars, Border Wars, Homelessness and Kids in the Crossfire. Back in the UK, she examined the realities of political extremism, drugs, and domestic abuse. She’s travelled to Russia, Iraq, Turkey, Brazil and Syria to uncover the shocking stories.

In print, Stacy is the author of the bestselling On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back, and has been appointed Grazia’s Contributing editor for Investigations. Away from tackling some of the toughest subjects in the media, Stacey was crowned the winner of the 16th series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.
