Gillian Ward

Gillian has been the Chief People Officer at Thomas for the past five years and leads the charge in reinforcing Thomas' strong company culture and delivering a people strategy that supports rapid growth. Together with her team, she oversees the full employee life cycle globally and champions the use of Thomas insights throughout Thomas' own recruitment, retention, and development practices.

With over 30 years of experience in people-related roles across a diverse range of public and private sector organisations, Gillian brings a wealth of expertise in building high-performing, engaged workforces. She is particularly passionate about creating workplace cultures founded on trust, transparency, and autonomy.

A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Gillian lives in Hampshire.
