As Associate Director and Head of ESG, Tunde leads and drives the delivery of sustainability policies/aspirations/strategies at both organisational and project levels. Tunde works collaboratively with clients/partners to help realise long term value and create socially and environmentally responsible portfolios.
He is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Sustainability Consultant with a thorough grasp and understanding of sustainability underpinned by nearly 20 years of hands-on experience in the building design, construction and commercial real estate (CRE) industry.
Tunde is considered a thought leader on environmental and sustainability benchmarking/assessment, ESG engagement, corporate responsibility policy/strategy, circular economy as well as health and wellbeing. Consequently, he leads the technical delivery of associated strategies for a wide range of development projects and organisational programmes.
Tunde has a varied skill set evidenced by his background in architecture, real estate economics and finance, environmental design and management, environmental engineering, sustainable development and project management. He is a BREEAM Accredited Professional (BREEAM AP), Fitwel Ambassador and one of the first qualified WELL Building Standard® Accredited Professionals (WELL AP) in the UK.
He is a sought-after speaker and visiting sustainability lecturer at the University of Bristol, the University of the West of England (UWE), Cardiff University and the University of Bath where he also sits on the department of Architecture and Civil Engineering's Industrial Liaison Panel. In 2022, Tunde was invited to join the Impact Evaluation Standard (IES) steering group with leaders from a wide range of sectors. IES offers a proprietary framework designed to help organisations measure and value their social value activities.
