Rukasana is a Diversity and Inclusion leader with 10 years of industry experience in Technology, Professional Services and Higher Education. Rukasana is currently at Google leading the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda across Google’s EMEA technology business.
Rukasana previously worked at EY as a Management Consultant supporting organisations to achieve their D&I ambitions; providing consultancy at all levels of D&I maturity. Working with Executive level teams in the public and private sector to build inclusive leadership capability, lead on D&I strategy build, develop sponsorship programmes to support the progression of women/ethnic minority individuals and delivery of cultural intelligence programmes. Rukasana has also delivered organisational change programmes internally at EY to advance outcomes for minority groups across the business and build leadership capability as an Inclusion Coach. Prior to EY Rukasana worked at Queen Mary University London, focusing on Gender Diversity in academia. In 2019 Rukasana was highly commended as an ‘Inspirational Role Model’ of the year at the European Diversity Awards. Prior to working in D&I Rukasana has ten years of experience in the Financial Services sector currency markets.
