Peri Thomas has over 20 years’ experience working across all areas of HR in range of industries from Financial Services to Engineering, and Retail to Utilities. She has built her experience in both generalist and specialist roles, with a constant need to learn and be curious.

As Head of HR for a non-profit making, private sector start-up owned by the public sector complexity and ambiguity are daily challenges along with innovation and tackling unique challenges. Unusually for a technical investment organisation, culture, people focus and learning were built in from Day 1 as a priority. Diversity and inclusion are non-negotiable as great decision making is our business, and this is proven to be stronger within diverse teams.

Peri reports into the CEO and is a member of ExCo. She loves to be immersed in the industry, sector and organisation she works in and is a strong believer that HR can make the biggest when we understand the business inside out.

Peri is Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and Trustee at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (which is in transition to standalone university).
