Jessica Hosking is the HR Data, Insight and Reward Manager at the Financial Times. In her role she is responsible for analytics and insight in personnel trends, opportunities and forecasting as well as data access, privacy and data consolidation. In addition she leads the reward function and is involved in establishing the company reward strategy and direction.
Obtaining a Masters in applied statistics and with an Honours degree in Statistics from Nelson Mandela University and the University of Cape Town respectively, Jessica started out as a business and HR consultant in the mining sector. She worked in this capacity for 6 years before moving into the media sector as the Global HR Data Analyst at Argus Media. Subsequently she took on a more systems focused role as the HRIS Lead for the same company before moving to the FT.
When Jessica is not looking at spreadsheets she is playing field hockey, swimming and travelling frequently between London and South Africa where she was born and raised.
