Vilma Nikolaidou is Associated Director People Strategy for the University of the Arts London. Vilma started her career in retail, working first in Sales and then in Human Resources for Monsoon Accessorize. She has also worked for central and local government in strategic resourcing and policy roles with a focus on workforce development, skills, diversity and inclusion. She recently led on the people and culture plans for the new Tate Modern, a 260 million extension to the existing Tate building in London’s Bankside.
She has an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City University, London, is a qualified Coach and MCIPD. Vilma is passionate about creativity in education, skills for young people as well as making the creative industries as inclusive as possible to everyone. Vilma volunteers as an Enterprise Advisor in East London, helping schools with their careers provision to all young people. She is also an Employment Tribunal Lay Member.
