Biography

Rob’s experience of people and organisations is rooted in a BBC career spanning thirty years and before that in the commercial sector with Marks & Spencer, first as a management trainee and then in administration management in busy high street stores.

Within the BBC Rob has worked in local radio, talent rights negotiation, business affairs and in learning and development. He has a Masters in Organisation Development, holds the Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching and was accredited by the International Coaching Federation in 2016. He is an accredited Workplace Mediator.

In his role as Head of Training at the BBC Academy, Rob is responsible for leading the transition to more digital forms of delivery, focusing on performance support and enabling learning across journalism, production and technology.
