Kim Travers spent 17 years at TfL and most of that as Head HR Shared Services and Head of Learning and Development.
She previously worked in the not for profit, financial services and hospitality industries. Her most recent role at TfL covered lifecycle support for all employees, recruitment activity including early careers, high volume, executive and technical roles and development support for all staff including graduates and apprentices using a wide range of training methods including online, just in time and classroom learning.
During her time at TfL, her focus was on improving the technology experience for employees by improving self-service functionality. She provides support as an Enterprise Advisor working with schools on their careers provision with a personal interest in encouraging publicising apprenticeships as an option alongside the push for university places.
