Clare is the Founder and Director of SpeakTo, a consultancy that specialises in inspiring grassroots attitudes within organisations and communities, harnessing the power of people to achieve far more with much less. Via inspirational talks, workshops and advisory sessions, SpeakTo support organisations to make the most of their own resources and recognise the huge potential of people to deliver a common goal.
Inspired by her work on a ground-breaking, grassroots initiative to re-energise her local high street community (The Crouch End Project), Clare set up SpeakTo in 2007. She has since worked with public and private sector organisations, advising them on employee and community engagement, leadership and sustainable management.
Described as a social innovator and community catalyst, Clare is passionate about harnessing the energy and innovation of a grassroots approach within a conventional bureaucratic setting and reaping the benefits. Clare has an MA in Creative Leadership, where she specialised in developing a programme to bind these two approaches together and a set of principles to guide the process.
Clare is a fellow of the RSA, an inspirational public speaker and panellist. She is also an expert contributor for BBC Radio, industry publications and the press.
