Katherine Ryan is an award winning Canadian comedian, writer, presenter and actor. She has appeared on a huge range of panel shows and sitcoms, and has established herself as one of the leading standups in the country.

Katherine has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 out of 10 Cats, The Apprentice: You're Fired and the Radio 4 institution The News Quiz to name just a few. As well as her own Netflix standup specials, she wrote and starred in her own sitcom, The Duchess, on the platform. She’s been a contestant on comic challenge show Taskmaster, presented How'd You Get So Rich? and appeared in BBC2’s transatlantic comedy Episodes.

In 2022, Katherine hosted her own hilarious 6-part global flagship series for Amazon Prime - Backstage with Katherine Ryan. She also hosts the hit primetime BBC Two jewellery-making competition series All That Glitters which has run for two series so far. Katherine also recently filmed a flagship 6 x 60’ comedy travel show with Joe Wilkinson for Channel 4.

Katherine’s latest special, Missus, aired on Sky Comedy in late 2022 to acclaim. She can also be seen playing a lead role alongside Romesh Ranganathan in Sky Comedy’s hit scripted series, Romantic Getaway.

Her debut book The Audacity was published by Bonnier and went straight into the Sunday Times Bestseller list. The paperback came out recently. Her hit podcast Telling Everybody Everything frequently tops the podcast charts and is hosted by market-leader Acast.

Outside of television, Katherine has sold-out venues across the UK, US and Canada with her unique shows. She took her penultimate offering, Glitter Room, to The Garrick Theatre in London’s West End for a four-week run after a sell-out nationwide tour. Her latest show, Missus, played at the London Palladium for multiple dates after a sell-out international tour.
